Still Have Questions About Your Medications?
If you are like so many of the patients that we encounter, chances are, after visiting your doctor and picking up your prescription, you still have questions. This often occurs because your doctor has a limited amount of time to spend with you and the pharmacy is oftentimes closed or understandably too busy to address many of the questions you may have. If after receiving your medication, you continue to have questions or you find that you are uncertain about the who, what, when and how of taking your meds, we are here to help!
In addition, we offer more extensive assessments if you believe you could benefit from a thorough Q&A about your condition and your meds. For example, we thoroughly screen your medications to assure you that you are not taking anything that you are known to be allergic to. We evaluate your medications to screen for potential drug interactions or meds that you should not be taking because of a secondary condition. We evaluate your profile to ensure that your dose is appropriate for your age, gender, and overall condition. We will also assess if certain OTC medications are compatible with your prescription meds. Your regular physician or pharmacist is more than capable of answering these questions, of course but we offer our services as a backup during those critical times when you need an answer!
